Building "Digital Villages" to give our youths a chance to succeed
Building "Digital Villages" to give our youths a chance to succeed

Mr. Olumbe Akinkugbe believes that every child in Ondo, whether they live in a city or a small village, should have the chance to learn how to use a computer. He knows that the world is changing, and for our youths to find good jobs, they need to know about technology.
Because of this, he launched the Digital Village Project. He built special ICT labs inside containers and placed them across our communities so that students can have 24-hour power and fast internet. So far, over 2,000 people—from primary school children to older adults—have learned valuable skills like coding, digital marketing, and computer design.
Why this project is special:
It’s for everyone: You don’t need to be rich to join. The labs are right in the community for everyone to use.
Skills for life: We aren't just teaching people how to use the internet; we are teaching them how to build businesses online.
Modern Tools: These labs use the latest technology to make sure our students can compete with anyone in the world.
For Mr. Akinkugbe, the success of these 2,000 students is the greatest reward. He is committed to making sure that every young person in Ondo has a "digital seat at the table" so they can build a better life for themselves and their families.

A new vision for leadership
Hon. Olumbe Akinkugbe is dedicated to building a Nigeria where technology, integrity, and hard work come together to create a better life for everyone.
